Additional Fees

Certain transactions may require additional work that incurs further costs. These are typically foreseeable and will be discussed with you upfront. Additional fees may include:

  • Leasehold Supplements: £250 + (VAT at 20%) £50 = £300
  • Help to Buy Scheme: £200 + (VAT at 20%) £40 = £240
  • New Build Supplements: £250 + (VAT at 20%) £50 = £300
  • Acting for Mortgage Lender: £100 + (VAT at 20%) £20 = £120

Disbursements

Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as:

  • Search Fees: £250 - £300
  • Land Registry Fees: £20 - £910 (depending on the property value)
  • Stamp Duty Land Tax: This varies based on the property price and your individual circumstances. You can use the HMRC Stamp Duty Calculator to determine the amount payable.
  • Bank Transfer Fee: £30 + (VAT at 20%) £6 = £36
  • Electronic ID Verification: £20 + (VAT at 20%) £4 = £24 per person
